Begin by taping the stencil to the surface and repositioning it until it is in the desired area and alignment. Take a pencil and make a small trace of the corners and middle section; top and bottom. |
Prepare the stencil by peeling off the stencil backing so that the adhesive side is exposed. |
Line the left two corners of the stencil to your markings and working left to right, firmly press stencil to the surface using the side of your fist or a squeegee. Next peel the transfer tape away from the stencil at an angle, being careful that small lettering pieces stay adhered to your project surface. If something does start to peel up then re-press with your finger and slowly peel away that area until the tape separates with success. Don't worry about small bubbles or wrinkles that do not affect the design of the stencil, since our disposable stencil has a slightly tacky backing you can reposition it if needed but, remember the more times it is repositioned the less tacky it becomes.

Make sure the cutout areas are firmly sealed to the surface (you don't want paint to seep behind the stencil). You are now ready to begin the fun part; Painting! Use a dappling or blotting method. we use foam brushes but just about any brush will work in a pinch, we have even seen people use balls of cloth. The only tips for painting stencil are to not apply too much at one time. If you do want a real dark coat of paint, do it in layers. Another thing to remember is to not press the paint into the material too hard as this can force paint up under the sides of the stencil and cause bleed over.

Stencil Application Instructions (Single Use) |

Once you have completely painted all lettering surfaces, peel the stencil material away from the project surface.
With single use stencil, center blocks of O’s, A’s, and G’s will remain on the project surface as you peel the stencil material away, sometimes even blocks of the insides of M’s and N’s may remain. This is expected and the next step will be to remove them with a pair of tweezers. |
Use a pair of tweezers to carefully left away these remaining stencil blocks. |
Let your paint dry and your project is complete.
